01Information, not advice
The content of this website – including descriptions of our services, articles, examples and illustrations – is general information about INDUZZ and the areas we work in. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting or regulatory advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances.
You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything on this website without first taking advice that is specific to your situation. INDUZZ gives advice only under a signed engagement letter.
02No offer or commitment
Nothing on this website is an offer, solicitation or commitment to provide, arrange or procure finance, a letter of credit, a guarantee, a standby letter of credit or any other instrument, or to buy or sell any security, company or other asset.
INDUZZ is not a bank or a lender and does not itself issue financial instruments. Whether finance or an instrument is made available, and on what terms, is decided solely by the bank, lender or financial institution concerned, following its own credit, compliance and approval processes.
We cannot guarantee that a query will lead to an engagement, that any finance or instrument will be obtained, or what its terms, pricing or timing will be. Indicative terms are not binding unless and until the institution providing them agrees them in writing.
03Regulatory status
INDUZZ is an advisory firm. We are not a bank, lender, deposit-taker or investment firm, and we do not hold client money. We advise businesses acting in a business capacity and do not provide services to retail consumers.
Where a transaction requires an activity that is regulated in the country concerned, such as lending, taking deposits, or issuing a letter of credit or guarantee, that activity is carried on by a bank or other institution that holds the necessary authorisation or licence, not by INDUZZ. Protections that some countries give to customers of regulated financial firms, such as ombudsman or compensation schemes, may therefore not apply to our services.
This website is directed only at businesses and professionals. It is not intended for retail consumers, and it is not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where doing so would be unlawful.
04About our experience
References on this website to our team’s experience – including “more than 150 years of combined experience” – describe the aggregate earlier careers of INDUZZ’s founders and core advisors, including at banks, financial institutions and technology companies. They do not mean that INDUZZ itself has operated for that period, and they do not imply that any former employer is affiliated with, endorses or is responsible for INDUZZ or its services.
Past experience is not a guarantee of future results.
05Illustrations and examples
Drawings of documents and financial instruments on this website – and any names, figures, amounts, stamps or reference numbers shown in them – are artistic illustrations. They do not depict real transactions, clients, institutions or terms.
Descriptions of how a request moves through our process describe how we typically work. Every transaction is different.
06Articles and insights
Articles on our blog reflect their authors’ views at the date of publication. They may not be updated, and they may not reflect current law, regulation, market conditions or our current views.
07Accuracy and third parties
We take reasonable care over the content of this website, but we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or up to date, and it may change without notice.
References to banks, financial institutions, instruments, markets or other third parties are descriptive only and do not imply any affiliation, partnership or endorsement. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
08Fraud and impersonation
Trade finance is a frequent target for fraud – including impersonation of advisory firms and banks, fake or “leased” instruments, and requests for upfront fees.
INDUZZ personnel use @induzz.com email addresses. We will never ask you to make a payment into a personal bank account. If you receive a request for payment, or a change to payment details, that appears to come from us, check it by calling one of the numbers on our Contact page before you act on it.
If you think someone is impersonating INDUZZ, tell us at contact@induzz.com and report it to the police or fraud reporting service where you are.
09Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, INDUZZ accepts no liability for any loss arising from reliance on the content of this website. Our full position, including the liabilities we do not exclude, is set out in the Our liability section of our Terms & Conditions.
