Privacy Policy
How INDUZZ collects, uses, shares and protects personal information – including the details and documents you send us through the financing query form.
Last updated · 15 October 2026
01Who we are
INDUZZ is a trade and corporate finance advisory business that works with clients in many countries. In this policy, “INDUZZ”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to INDUZZ and the INDUZZ group companies through which we provide our services.
The INDUZZ company that receives your query is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Where a query leads to work handled by another INDUZZ company, that company is also responsible for the information it uses for that work.
We handle personal information in line with the data protection laws that apply to us in the countries where we operate, and this policy is written to meet the standards those laws commonly share.
We have not appointed a data protection officer. If you have any question about this policy or your personal information, contact us at contact@induzz.com.
02What this policy covers
This policy applies to personal information we collect through this website – when you visit it and when you submit a financing query – and when you contact us by email or phone.
Most people we deal with act on behalf of a business. Information about you as an individual, such as your name, role and contact details, is still personal information, and this policy covers it.
It also covers people whose information appears in documents sent to us, such as a company’s directors, shareholders, beneficial owners, guarantors or employees. If you are one of them, we will usually have received your information from the business that submitted the query rather than from you.
If we are engaged, the engagement letter may give further detail about how we use information for that engagement.
03The information we collect
Information you give us
- Through the financing query form: your company’s name; your name, email address and phone number; the type of financing you are looking for; its currency and an amount or amount range; and, if you choose to give them, the purpose of the financing and notes on your financials.
- Documents you upload with a query – typically financial statements, management accounts, contracts, invoices and similar business records. These may contain personal information about you or about other people.
- Information you share in emails, calls and meetings with us.
Information we collect if an engagement goes ahead
To verify identity and meet know-your-customer, anti-money-laundering and sanctions obligations, we may collect identification documents and information about a business’s ownership, directors and beneficial owners – from you, from public registers, and from identity verification, screening and credit reference providers. Screening can reveal information about alleged or actual criminal offences. We use that information only where the law permits, to prevent fraud and financial crime.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, our hosting provider records technical information in server logs – your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time. It is used to run the website and keep it secure.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors. See Cookies.
Information we ask you not to send
Please do not send us special category information – for example about health, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, ethnic origin or trade union membership – unless we specifically ask for it. If a document contains such information incidentally, we will handle it with particular care and only as far as necessary.
04How we use it, and our legal basis
Data protection law requires us to have a legal basis for each way we use personal information:
- Why we use it
- To review your financing query and decide whether we can help

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights and interests. You can ask us for details of that assessment, and you have the right to object – see Your rights.
Giving us information through the query form is voluntary, but we need the required fields to assess and respond to your query.
Decisions about your query are made by people. We may use analytical tools to support an advisor’s assessment, but we do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising. We do not currently send marketing emails; if we start to, we will do so only as the law allows, and you will always be able to opt out.
06International transfers
Our team works across several countries, and our website, database and document storage are hosted by providers whose servers are located primarily in the United States. Your information may therefore be transferred to, and stored in, countries other than the one you are in.
Whenever we transfer personal information across borders, we make sure it is protected by the safeguards that applicable data protection law requires, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Contact us if you would like more information about the safeguard that applies to a particular transfer.
07How long we keep it
- Where an engagement follows: query information and documents are kept for five years after the engagement ends.
- Where no engagement follows: they are kept for five years after our last contact with you about the query.
- Server logs: only for as long as our hosting provider keeps them to run and secure the website, which is typically a short period.
These periods reflect the record-keeping expectations of financial services and the time within which legal claims can be brought. We may keep information for longer where the law requires it, or while it is needed for a dispute or investigation. When we no longer need information, we delete it securely or anonymise it.
08How we protect it
Documents uploaded through the query form are held in private storage that cannot be reached through a public link, and access to submitted queries is limited to INDUZZ personnel who need it. Information is encrypted in transit between your browser and our website, and is stored with providers that encrypt data at rest.
No system is completely secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us straight away. If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the relevant regulator where the law requires.
09Your rights
Depending on where you are and the law that applies, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected;
- have your information erased, in certain circumstances;
- restrict how we use your information, in certain circumstances;
- object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
- receive information you gave us in a portable format, in certain circumstances; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@induzz.com. We will respond within one month, or sooner if the law that applies to you requires it. We may need to verify your identity first, and we do not usually charge a fee. Some rights are subject to legal exemptions – for example, we may need to keep certain information to meet a legal obligation.
11Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12Other websites
The website may link to websites run by other people. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for how they handle personal information.
13Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at contact@induzz.com so we can try to put it right.
You may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work, or where you think a breach of data protection law has happened.
14Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change that affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you where appropriate. See also our Terms & Conditions.
